Bill Salvin, President & Founder
Bill Salvin, President & Founder Bill has more than two decades of experience in communications training, corporate public relations, journalism and military public affairs. Bill has worked in nearly all 50 states and many foreign countries. Bill’s international experience includes conducting training sessions in Argentina, Canada, England, Australia, Singapore, Peru, Oman, Qatar, Djibouti, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, Trinidad and Thailand. Bill is also an award-winning journalist and has worked in print, radio and television. Bill has contributed stories to CNN, CBS Newsnet, NBC News Channel, AP and UPI Radio. He has covered presidential primaries and interviewed Presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush, and other national candidates. Additionally, Bill has covered such high profile stories as the Jeffrey Dahmer murder investigation and trial. Bill is a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve and serves as director of a Naval Reserve unit that supports the United States Seventh Fleet. In his capacity as a Navy and military spokesman, Bill has been interviewed by The New York Times, CNN, Reuters, AP, BBC, Time, USA Today and many others. Bill’s other Navy assignments have taken him to the Pentagon during Desert Storm, Guantanamo Bay, Australia, Sarajevo, Italy, Hawaii and aboard the aircraft carriers USS Independence and USS Saratoga. Bill holds a B.A. in communications from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. He currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
Julie A. Eppers, Vice President Prior to co-founding Signal Bridge, Julie spent three years running her own company, Eppers Ink. During that time she began her long-standing relationship with the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), an international trade association serving law firm administrators. She provides writing and editing services for ALA’s Annual Educational Conference and Exposition, yearly Regional Conferences, annual Financial Conference and various other projects. Julie created ALA’s online encyclopedia tutorial and interactive guide. In addition, Julie consulted with The Connor Group on a branding and advertising campaign for a major national brand of hair care products. Before establishing her own business, Julie served as ALA’s senior marketing specialist, writing, designing and producing print ads, brochures, flyers and other collateral materials. Before coming to ALA, Julie worked at Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation in Madison, Wisconsin, as the coordinator of Managed Care Communications. At Physicians Plus, she oversaw the planning and development of communications for new products and programs, and created and produced collateral materials. She developed materials for the corporate Web site and produced newsletters for physicians, staff and patients. Julie began her career as the operations manager for the Association of Wisconsin HMOs. She oversaw the daily operations of this statewide trade association and developed legislative strategies, position papers, hearing testimony and speeches. Her work also included planning and executing the group’s annual convention and directing all financial operations of the association including budgeting, taxes and lobbying reports. Julie holds a B.A. in English-Writing/Communications from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
